"Steps to Learning A New Language."

Learning a foreign language is a big commitment. If you consider all the options and set goals before you start, you’re much more likely to have a successful transition from a simple “Merci!” to enjoying a French film without subtitles. Checking your motivations, choosing the right language, and deciding what methods you’ll use to study and perfect the new tongue are all important steps.

Why learn a foreign language?

There are dozens of different reasons why people decide to learn a foreign language. Getting your reasons clear in your mind will help you keep focused on a goal which can seem far away when you’re struggling to get past “uno, dos, tres."
When I knew I was moving to Japan to work, I took my first Japanese course. I never intended to be able to read a Japanese newspaper, but I hoped that during my stay in Osaka I’d be able to ask directions, shop with ease and make a little small talk. In my continuing Japanese classes in a community hall on the way to Kyoto, I met other foreigners with varying reasons for choosing to grapple with Japanese. Robert, married for several years to a Japanese woman who spoke perfect English, wanted to understand his wife and their future children when they spoke together in Japanese. Kylie had worked her way up from a typical English teacher’s job to the brink of a promotion into a publishing firm, as long as her Japanese skills got up to scratch.
For travel, romance, work, or simply to keep your brain active: your reason is unique for you, but it’s important that it’s clear. Do you need to be a fluent reader and writer or will everyday conversation serve your purposes? Think about this and set an appropriate goal defining the level you want to reach.

"Describe a favorite music video to a friend who has not had a chance to see or hear it."

"Firework" is a song by American recording artist Katy Perry from her second mainstream studio album Teenage Dream. Katy Perry opens the video gazing down upon the city from a balcony. As she sings into the night, fireworks shoot from her chest and soon inspire young people throughout the city to overcome their fears and insecurities, in the process igniting their own fireworks. A shy overweight girl, playing the role of wallflower at a pool party, finds the courage to shed her clothes and jump in the pool. A leukemia patient at a children's hospital proves to herself that she can show herself out on the street and in public despite her loss of hair. A teenage boy finds confidence in his sexuality and approaches his friend at a party and kisses him. A struggling young performer walking home in a dark alley uses tricks from his magic act to win over a group of street thugs who were trying to rob him. A boy confronts his fighting parents and pushes them apart because their shouting is upsetting his little sister. Soon the youth of the city are converging upon the courtyard of Buda Castle, dancing and lighting up the night with their own fireworks.

"Describe a teenage fab and the reasons you believe caused its popularity."

Let's start with makeup - a natural look is best. If you have dark circles under your eyes: apply concealer one shade lighter than your skin tone. Seal everything off with powder. Line your top lashline with a kohl pencil. Get as close to the lash line as possible. But remember don't apply too much! If you want some lenghth for your lashes, apply a lengenthening mascara. For more volume, apply a volumizing mascara. Remember, brown mascara looks more natural than black. Last but not least, if you want to make your lips to look more pouty, apply a lip gloss in your choice of shade (note: lip gloss with a slanted aplicater form a squeeze tube works the best.. Victoria Secrect Beauty Rush is an example). If you already have pouty lips, choose a tinted lip balm.
Hair. A simple braid to the side will give you a cute look. Also maybe halfup-halfdown look gives you a professional look. you can also just the best style that fits you. It has to be a style that you feel comfortable with.
Clothing. It doesn't have to be expensive to make you look great, so don't spend too much...a little goes a long way! It has to be a style that expresses you. Before you make a purchase, think about how you can pair with different items in your closet. Don't just follow the trends as YSL has said that fashion goes as style lasts. Check out teen megazines such as GL, Teen Vogue or Seventeen once a season to get the hang of things. Classic blue jeans and tees are must haves in a closet.

"Write about the relationship that people have with animals."

Animals behave "neutrally" towards people. They mirror what others do, rather than making judgements. Animals are not calculating - they give and take without making conditions. In their relationship with animals, children can learn to have relationships, build up a sense of trust, find comfort, take responsibility, and experience the effects of their actions and feelings. This requires suitable animals, the appropriate conditions, and competent instructions and guidance.

"Describe the most luscious, decadent dessert you can imagine."

Cheesecake is a dessert consisting of a topping made of soft, fresh cheese on a base made from biscuitpastry or sponge. The topping is frequently sweetened with sugar and flavored or topped with fruitnuts, fruit flavored drizzle and/or chocolate.
Savory cheesecakes also are easy to make, served sometimes as hors d'oeuvre or with accompanying salads.

"Explain how different modern life would be without cell phones."

Cell-phone is such an interesting gadget and it's getting remarkably smaller in size day by day and amazingly with all the possible Applications on it. It sure has become a very interesting machine. I have seen people carrying it everywhere...u name it such as bed, restroom, while bathing. No activity is a lonesome one anymore. We have it near us and we tend to navigate the APPs even while talking to someone or shopping. Boy, where are our manners?
I would love to do this experiment on myself and wonder how many had already done it? Go without my cell for just 1 day. YES...just one day. That's what I have been saying that to myself....it's just a day...I can do it!! But, then in an hour's time, I go looking for it. I check for missed calls. I scan all the possible APPs I have. And there, goes my experiment with just one conclusion that I am a weak headed person who cannot control myself. Gosh! that sure is disappointing.
I wonder how my life would be without a cell phone...DULL. How would I keep myself entertained after doing all the norms of the day? How would I connect to the world? How would I know that all is well at the other end of my world i.e. my loved ones? I gotta keep up with my score of games and watch out for my friend's who score even out with me on games. I gotta keep it near me just in case of an emergency. I see myself running frantically with out it. You see...this is a world for winners so, how can I lay low for once...nay can't.

"Choose a foreign country you would like to visit and explain why you find that country so appealing."

Italy because I want garlic bread.
