"Me and Mr. Dinosaur"

--THUMP--
My eyes twitch open and stared at the ceiling.
--THUMP--
I looked at my window and raised an eyebrow.
--THUMP--
Okay. That sound is getting really annoying now.
--THUMP--
What the hell is that sound?!
--THUMP--
I got out of bed and went to my window. I opened it and just when I was about to yell, 'Shut the hell up', I saw it.
A dinosaur.
Holy crap.
It stomped its feet.
--THUMP--
So that's where that sound is coming from...
Its long neck turned to look at me. I gulped nervously.
"Um.... hi?" I said, half waving.
The dinosaur simply nodded. He stuck his head through my window.
"Whoa there, buddy, what cha doing?"
He darted his eyes from his neck to me and back again.
"You must want me to go on your neck?"
The dinosaur nodded again. I climbed onto his neck and he drew his head out my window. My ride with the dinosaur was fun. He took me everywhere from the sparkling park lake to the hill where you can see the stars shining. It was probably 12:30 at night when we got back. The dinosaur poked his head through my window and I climbed off.
"Thank you Mr. Dinosaur. I had fun."
The dinosaur nodded and opened his mouth.
"You're welcome."
Holy double crap.
He talks?!

The End.

"Describe one time you were brave..."

It was 4 hours before midnight
And all was so rowdy
Bus tires screeching
Children getting off
To the one place they know
They were going to have fun
Universal Studios
That's a name to remember
On the day of Halloween
Man, today is going to be fun.
A girl named Kimberly
As strong and tough she may look
Was timid underneath from ghouls and stuff
"Nothing to be afraid," she told herself again.
But scare after scare, she didn't know
if she wanted to go back in.
Minutes to midnight
Almost time to go
Her friends saw shortcut, but she didn't want to go.
Fog surrounded the floors and walls
She thought she was going to bawl.
Slowly, they walked toward the gate
A man popped behind us and he said, "Boo!"
Her friends screamed and ran for their lives.
Only she was alone with the scary man's face
She didn't want to run, she didn't want be scared,
So she said to me, "How do you do?"
The man paused a second, then he said to me,
"Nothing really. How about you, like the party?"
We strike up a conversation
And went our separate ways,
I'm so proud of myself,
I really wasn't fazed.
I caught up with my friends
And they asked, "Where the hell were you?!"
"Talking to a ghost, hey man, what about you?"

"Imagine you had a hundred dollars..."

I would like to give my hundred
dollars to St. Jude Children's hospital
where they are searching for cures
everyday. I want that hospital to
use my money to find a cure that can
make someone happy. I want that
person to be granted with a new life
and in the end, I would fell happy
for the first time.

"I Am Poem"

I am delighted and distressed
I wonder why happiness is not called sadness
I hear laughs
I see smiles
I want to be happy
I am delighted and distressed
I pretend to fall in love
I feel the sadness overcoming me
I touch the wound that marks me
I worry about the pain I'll feel
I cry when it hurts
I am delighted and distressed
I understand all things come and go
I say it's ok to be heartbroken
I dream about all things beautiful
I try to push the sadness away
I hope my heart heals from this pain
I am delighted and distressed

"When I wake up..."

...I hope to see a butler
by my side saying, "Good morning."
I hope to see mountains
of cash at my bedside
I hope to be
the next new pop-star.
I hope to see the
world in my point of view.
But I know
When I wake up...
I'll see the new day,
God has given me.

"In this dream, I was.."

...flying.
Like a bird.
Like a plane.
I had wings like an angel.
I soar so high.
Everything's so beautiful.
As I grow tired,
I start to land.
And that's when I wake up
And thank God
For this beautiful dream I had.

"...She got out of the car..."

....and walk away.
Suddenly, the car roared to life.
She turned around and saw the thief driving away.
With HER car.
"Oh well, that car was old anyway," she shrugged.
And she was right.
As she walked  in, the breaking news flashed on the t.v.
She continued to watched as the news reported said,
"Breaking News! A car exploded on the i-110 freeway!"
"Like I said, that car was old anyway," she said with a smirk.

"...Do you remember..."

Do you remember when we were little,
we used to splash in the puddles.
Do you remember when we were little,
we played house and mad mud pies.
Do you remember when we were little,
we spin and spin until we were dizzy.
Do you remember when we were little,
we stopped playing house because you had sports.
Do you remember when we were little,
we stopped splashing in the puddles because I got my hair done.
Do you remember when we grew up,
we stopped playing altogether.
But yet you call and you said to me,
"Let's play a game called, 'Do you remember'."
